R: Critical Characteristic – Receiving
Each shipment will be checked for compliance by receiving inspection
I: Critical Characteristic – Inspection
The fabrication process must be monitored and verified with retained dimensional or test data.
C: Critical Characteristic – Critical
Fabrication must be verified with statistical process control (SPC) with retained statistical data.
Require each shipment from an outside permanent magnets manufacturer must include copies of the data collected for all critical characteristics.
