Bonded NdFeB magnets can be multi-poles magnetized through diameter, but sintered NdFeB magnets are more difficult. Now there are many magnet manufacturers can’t produce those sintered NdFeB magnets with multi-poles magnetization direction. The neodymium ring magnets that are diametrically multi-poles magnetized need customized corresponding magnetism tool. Otherwise the magnets cannot be magnetized. And the magnetization direction of magnets should be decided by products requirement.
Diametrically multi-poles magnetization is always a very hard technique. So how to solve them while facing these problems?
1、Change to Bonded NdFeB material
Sintered NdFeB magnets have better magnetism, but bonded NdFeB magnets will be more convenient for magnetizing. Bonded neodymium magnets are made by adding magnetic powder to adhesive, It's actually injection molding. The sintered NdFeB magnets are vacuum forming by high temperature heating. The difference between two production modes makes it easier for bonded NdFeB magnets to multi-poles magnetized through diameter.
2、Cut the neodymium magnets into arc shapes, then splicing.
Neodymium ring magnets can be spliced by several arc magnets. Though these ring magnets are spliced together, when the arc magnets splice into a magnetic ring, the magnetic ring can totally reach the requirement. Any magnetic force and direction deviation won’t appear.
